Abu Dhabi Global Market has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Futian District People's Government in Shenzhen. The partnership aims to enhance cooperation across financial services, artificial intelligence in finance, and talent development. The framework also covers international investment vehicles, including Qualified Foreign Limited Partner structures.
Chinese autonomous driving firm Baidu has opened a 2,000-square-metre Apollo Go operations and control centre in Dubai to support commercial robotaxi deployment. The initiative aligns with Dubai's objective to achieve 25 percent autonomous transportation by 2030. Dubai's robotaxi network has exceeded 4 million operating kilometres across commercial and testing phases.
Abu Dhabi will host 'Investopia Bridge 2026' on October 7 at the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island under the theme 'Investing in a More Resilient World'. The forum will convene ministers, institutional investors, and business leaders to examine capital reallocation, AI infrastructure, and trade corridor policies. Regional IT distributor Hiperdist has been named an Authorised Huawei Cloud Distributor for the United Arab Emirates. The partnership extends the collaboration between the two companies to expand Huawei Cloud's channel presence across the UAE. The agreement focuses on partner enablement, cloud migration, infrastructure modernisation, artificial intelligence, and data management services.
