What UECN verifies

Companies

  • Company registration in China (unified social credit code), the UAE (trade licence) or elsewhere
  • That you are the owner, director or authorised representative
  • Beneficial owners with 25 % or more
  • Sanctions, PEP and adverse-media screening (UN, US, EU, UK and UAE lists)
  • Control of the company's website domain and mailbox
  • 12 months of operating history or verifiable trading records
  • Two business referees · Code of Conduct signed

Individuals

  • Identity document and liveness check
  • Your stated role (employer letter, own company licence or professional licence)
  • Sanctions, PEP and adverse-media screening
  • Two professional referees · Code of Conduct signed

Automatic, fair and the same for everyone

Every applicant faces the same checks, whatever their membership category. An application that passes every check is certified automatically. Only possible sanctions matches, suspected document fraud and revocations are reviewed by a person.

Certification is earned by evidence, not bought — payment never influences any check.

Who can apply

Active UECN members: Associate Member, Member, Fellow (individual certification) and Associate Member, Member, Fellow, Corporate Member (company certification). An active UECN membership is required throughout. Fees, where they apply, are shown in your Membership Portal.

UECN Trusted Partner status confirms that UECN verified the identity, registration and compliance screening of the named party as at the date shown. It is not a guarantee of performance, creditworthiness, product or service quality, and is not a legal, financial or government endorsement.
How it works

From application to badge

  1. ApplyStart in your Membership Portal and choose individual or company certification.
  2. Automated checksRegistry, identity, sanctions screening, domain, referees — each result is recorded with its source and date.
  3. Fix and resubmitIf a check does not pass you see why, fix it and resubmit.
  4. Certificate & badgeDownload your certificate and a badge that links to your live verification page.
  5. MonitoredStatus is re-checked continuously; every change appears on the verification page immediately.
