The UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has announced implementation timelines for the country's mandatory e-Invoicing System during an awareness forum in Dubai attended by more than 700 stakeholders, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
Under the directive, taxable businesses with annual revenues of AED 50 million or more are required to appoint an Accredited Service Provider by October 30, 2026, and achieve full e-invoicing implementation by January 1, 2027.
Taxable entities with annual revenues below AED 50 million must appoint an accredited provider by March 31, 2027, and complete full system implementation no later than July 1, 2027.
FTA Director-General Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Mulla stated that the e-invoicing rollout follows pilot testing designed to ensure integration readiness across the EmaraTax digital platform. The authority urged applicable entities to initiate contractual and technical integration early to ensure compliance.
