The UAE Federal Tax Authority has officially published the compliance timetable and penalty framework for its upcoming national electronic invoicing mandate, according to Global VAT Compliance.

Under the released schedule, businesses with annual turnover of AED 50 million ($13.6 million) or above are required to appoint an Accredited Service Provider by October 30, 2026, and achieve live operational status by January 1, 2027.

Taxable businesses with revenues under the AED 50 million threshold must appoint an accredited provider by March 31, 2027, and complete mandatory system integration by July 1, 2027.

The regulatory framework stipulates administrative fines of AED 5,000 ($1,361) per month for delays in appointing an accredited provider or failing to comply with the e-invoicing standards.
