Active Chinese corporate memberships registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce reached 6,650, according to a commercial assessment cited by Arabian Business on October 29, 2026. This milestone represents an expansion of more than 200 percent in the number of Chinese businesses operating in Dubai over the last decade.
Simultaneously, Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund Mubadala reaffirmed mainland China as a foundational anchor of its direct investment strategy in Asia. The assessment noted that capital deployment between the UAE and China has transitioned increasingly into institutional joint ventures.
Key areas of bilateral capital deployment highlighted include industrial manufacturing, green energy, and cross-border digital financial services. The expansion has been further supported by rising corporate registrations across major financial centres, including the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).
