JINGDONG Property Partners With KEZAD Group for 150,000-Square-Metre Abu Dhabi Logistics Facility

JINGDONG Property, the infrastructure arm of China's JD.com, has signed an agreement with KEZAD Group to establish an advanced logistics hub in Abu Dhabi. The project covers approximately 150,000 square metres in KEZAD Area A (Al Ma'mourah) and is scheduled for delivery in 2028. Once operational, the smart facility is projected to generate roughly 1,000 direct jobs across logistics, distribution, and administration.

JINGDONG Property, the infrastructure investment and asset management arm of China's JD.com, Inc., signed an agreement on 28 September 2026 with KEZAD Group to construct an advanced logistics facility in KEZAD Area A – KEZAD Al Ma’mourah in Abu Dhabi.

The project encompasses approximately 150,000 square metres of warehousing facilities, with completion and delivery scheduled for 2028. Designed to support both domestic and international enterprises, the hub will incorporate smart automated warehousing systems, digital operations technologies, and green building specifications to enhance regional and cross-border supply chains.

According to the announcement, the facility is expected to create approximately 1,000 direct jobs across logistics, distribution, and administration roles once fully operational, in addition to creating indirect employment opportunities across manufacturing, retail, and transportation sectors. Mohamed Al Khadar Al Ahmed, CEO of KEZAD Group, stated that the partnership supports the Abu Dhabi Industrial Strategy and the goals of Operation 300Bn by strengthening the emirate's industrial ecosystem.

Feng Guo, CEO of JD.com Middle East, described the initiative as a critical milestone in JINGDONG Property's expansion strategy within the UAE. JINGDONG Property currently manages more than 300 infrastructure assets globally covering over 28 million square metres of gross floor area, with total assets under management exceeding USD 16 billion.
