Authorities in Dubai and the wider UAE have introduced updates across tourist visas, property owner residency, and specialized entry permits. The revisions widen visa-on-arrival eligibility for select passport holders who hold valid visas or residence permits from nations including the United States, the United Kingdom, and European Union member states.

According to the report, streamlined digital processing has reduced tourist visa turnaround times to as little as 48 hours. Additionally, the updates adjust the criteria for two-year property owner visas.

The revised rules also mandate the settlement of outstanding traffic fines prior to completing residency renewals. Furthermore, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security highlighted dedicated visit visa options specifically tailored for artificial intelligence and event professionals.
