The United Arab Emirates Government has released updated regulatory conditions and documentation guidelines for foreign nationals applying for a jobseeker visit visa without requiring a domestic host or sponsor, according to a notice cited by Punch Newspapers.
The revised guidelines allow eligible candidates to obtain a single-entry job exploration visa for a stay duration of 60, 90, or 120 days. The visa permits individuals to explore employment opportunities in the UAE but does not authorise holders to work, as a separate work permit or visa is required once employment is obtained.
To qualify, applicants must fall within the first, second, or third professional skill levels as classified by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), or be graduates of a top 500 global university according to Ministry of Education classifications who have completed their studies within the previous two years. Candidates must also hold a certified bachelor's degree or higher equivalent and satisfy mandatory financial guarantee requirements.
Required documentation includes a passport copy, a coloured photograph, and an attested qualification certificate. Applications are processed digitally through the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai.
