UAE Introduces Five-Year Golden Residency Visa for Outstanding Secondary School Students

The UAE has established a five-year Golden Residency visa pathway for high-achieving secondary school students and their families without requiring a local sponsor. According to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, applicants must achieve at least 95 percent on their secondary school examinations and receive a recommendation from the Ministry of Education. UAE Updates Eligibility Requirements for Single-Entry Jobseeker Visit Visas

The UAE government has issued updated rules and documentation criteria for foreigners seeking a jobseeker visit visa without a domestic sponsor. Eligible applicants can secure a single-entry visa for 60, 90, or 120 days based on professional skill tiers or graduation from a top 500 global university. The visa does not grant the right to work, requiring a separate permit once employment is secured.
