The UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) hosted an awareness conference in Dubai gathering over 700 attendees, including corporate taxpayers and accredited e-invoicing service providers. During the event, FTA Director General Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Mulla instructed taxable entities to initiate steps to join the nationwide e-Invoicing System.
The authority stated that taxable entities generating annual revenues of AED 50 million or more must appoint an accredited e-invoicing service provider by October 30, 2026.
Under the new framework, the issuance, distribution, and acceptance of invoices will be automated in structured digital formats integrated with the EmaraTax platform.
FTA officials noted that the nationwide initiative is designed to standardize transaction reporting, support voluntary compliance, and align the commercial regulatory framework of the UAE with international standards.
