The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced an intensified enforcement crackdown targeting fake Emiratisation practices across private sector firms, according to Gulf News.

To detect unauthorized attempts to circumvent national employment quotas, the ministry is utilizing artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digital monitoring systems. The enforcement measures target companies attempting to evade compliance or improperly claim benefits under the Nafis program.

Employers found violating these regulations face graduated financial penalties. Fines are set at Dh100,000 for a first violation, increasing to Dh300,000 for a second offense, and reaching Dh500,000 for a third offense.

MoHRE reported that it has recently detected 377 verified violations involving fake Emiratisation among private sector employers. The authority reiterated that circumventing labor regulations will lead to formal legal penalties and strict administrative actions.
