Sharjah Police General Command, in cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Interior, announced the completion of an international security operation codenamed 'End of the Battle'. The operation led to the dismantling of four interconnected cross-border criminal networks and the arrest of 33 suspects representing 12 nationalities, including key syndicate leaders apprehended domestically and extradited from abroad.

According to Sharjah Police, the operation secured assets valued at approximately AED 65 billion ($17.7 billion) belonging to more than 30 companies and institutions globally. Authorities also seized more than AED 200 million in cash and audited and verified over 3,000 digital wallets associated with the criminal structure.

Lieutenant General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, stated during a press briefing that the criminal ring operated across four specialized branches. One group executed cyber intrusions and data theft, a second managed money laundering through virtual assets, a third conducted social engineering to siphon digital wallets, and a fourth deployed physical extortion and assault to obtain digital access codes.

Legal authorities in Sharjah confirmed that the criminal networks handled an estimated AED 8.83 billion ($2.4 billion) in illicit financial and money laundering transactions. Officials noted that the syndicate relied on encrypted platforms and networks that altered configurations every eight hours to evade digital surveillance.
