His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, headed a delegation from the Emirate on a six-day official tour of Guangdong and Fujian provinces in southern China. The visit focused on expanding bilateral economic ties and pursuing investment partnerships across technology, advanced manufacturing, aviation, finance, pharmaceuticals, and infrastructure.

During the tour, Sheikh Saud witnessed the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding between UBTECH Robotics and the International Relations Office of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah. The agreement establishes a framework for collaborative research, live field testing, and the operational deployment of humanoid robotic systems in the Emirate.

Sheikh Saud also visited ARIDGE's smart manufacturing facility in Guangzhou following the firm's agreement with Ras Al Khaimah's Transport Authority and Civil Aviation Department regarding advanced air mobility. Additionally, at Shenzhen Urban Transport Planning Center (SUTPC), an MoU was signed to collaborate on intelligent transit, public transportation, artificial intelligence applications, and low-altitude economy solutions.

In addition to touring Vipshop's headquarters in Guangzhou, the delegation met with executives from numerous Chinese enterprises and financial institutions, including ICBC, China Securities International, ZTE, CRBC, and Xiamen Airlines, targeting cross-sector collaboration with RAK's expanding economy.
