Officials from both sides confirmed commitments to expand cooperation, direct travel links, and trade missions.
Oman Air has announced the launch of a new direct daily service between Muscat and Abu Dhabi starting July 9. The route marks the Omani carrier's 49th destination globally and its tenth destination within the GCC. The service aims to bolster regional connectivity, passenger transit, tourism, and bilateral trade.
The UAE Federal Tax Authority has published amendments to multiple decisions concerning the Marking Tobacco and Tobacco Products Scheme. The updated rules govern the application and verification of digital tax stamps on tobacco products and electronic smoking liquids. Importers and warehouse operators face product seizures and administrative penalties for non-compliance.
The Great Wall Marathon and Zayed Charity Run return to Beijing's Huairou District on 27 September, convening approximately 15,000 global participants including 100 runners from the UAE. Half of the event's proceeds will be allocated to support Huairou Hospital. The event features 42-kilometre full and 21-kilometre half marathons alongside bilateral cultural presentations.
