Dubai Serves as Commercial Launchpad for Chinese Business Expansion Across Global Markets

Senior executives from major Chinese enterprises highlighted Dubai as a strategic hub for trade and investment expansion across the Gulf and globally. The statements were issued ahead of the Dubai Business Forum – China, scheduled for 14 October in Shenzhen by Dubai Chambers. Companies including BYD, Tencent Cloud, Baidu, Huawei Cloud, and China Merchants Capital emphasized deepening bilateral corridors aligned with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

Senior executives from major Chinese enterprises have identified Dubai as a strategic commercial launchpad for Chinese trade and investment expansion across the Gulf and global markets, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

The announcements were made in anticipation of the Dubai Business Forum – China, organized by Dubai Chambers in Shenzhen on 14 October under the theme "Momentum at Scale: Accelerating Shared Success".

Executives representing companies including BYD, Tencent Cloud, Baidu, Huawei Cloud, and China Merchants Capital emphasized the deepening of bilateral economic corridors.

Huawei Cloud Middle East reported that it is expanding its cross-border digital and artificial intelligence infrastructure to support Chinese and UAE companies looking to scale operations.

Bilateral initiatives are focused on accelerating technology transfer, regional logistics networks, and investment ties aligned with the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

UAE Firm Cleared to Acquire MTML Stakes from Chinese Investors

The Competition Commission of Pakistan has approved UAE-based Velora Global Ventures-F.Z.C.'s acquisition of an equity stake in Masood Textile Mills Limited from two Chinese investors. The transaction covers shares held by Shanghai Challenge Textile Company and Zhejiang Xinao Industry Company. Regulators concluded the deal will not cause market dominance or restrict competition.
