Dubai Chambers has announced the addition of an Agentic AI category to the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award, according to a statement reported by Zawya. The award category is designed to recognize Dubai-based private sector enterprises that demonstrate practical and responsible adoption of Agentic AI technologies to deliver measurable operational outcomes.
The new category is open to businesses across all commercial sectors in Dubai. Dubai Chambers stated that the category targets companies that have moved beyond experimental stages to deploy Agentic AI applications at scale, enabling autonomous execution of tasks, coordination of workflows, and decision support while maintaining governance controls, human oversight, and cybersecurity safeguards.
The initiative is integrated into Dubai's broader private-sector Agentic AI transformation programme, which is overseen by Dubai Chambers in line with directives from Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, UAE Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.
Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, stated that Agentic AI serves as a key driver of business competitiveness, innovation, and economic value, adding that business awards help encourage companies to adopt best practices across the digital economy.
