China Securities and JINGDONG Property Expand UAE Operations in Major Bilateral Push

Enterprise reported multiple key business milestones across the UAE, including China Securities opening a regional office in DIFC and JD.com subsidiary JINGDONG Property developing a 150,000-square-metre logistics hub at KEZAD. The briefing also covered an investment partnership between First Abu Dhabi Bank and Temasek-owned Seviora Holdings, as well as a $5 million Series A fundraise by UAE startup Amaani to expand its AÏZA brand into Saudi Arabia.

According to reporting by Enterprise, Beijing-headquartered investment bank China Securities has established a regional office in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The publicly listed firm secured authorization from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and a commercial licence from the DIFC Authority to support regional client services across debt and equity capital markets, investment banking, and asset management. DIFC noted that China's five largest banks already account for more than 30 percent of total banking and capital markets assets in the financial centre.

In Abu Dhabi, Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD Group) signed an agreement with JINGDONG Property, the infrastructure investment and asset management arm of JD.com, Inc. The company will construct an advanced 150,000-square-metre smart warehousing and logistics facility in KEZAD Area A (Al Ma'mourah), with delivery slated for 2028. The hub is expected to create approximately 1,000 direct jobs across logistics, distribution, and operations upon opening.

Separately, First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) inked a memorandum of understanding with Singapore-based Seviora Holdings, the asset management platform wholly owned by Temasek. The strategic alliance focuses on co-investment opportunities, knowledge sharing, and exploring the distribution of Seviora-managed investment strategies across FAB's wealth management platform.

The briefing also noted that Dubai-based consumer startup Amaani raised $5 million in a Series A financing round led by BECO Capital, with participation from Peak XV's Surge. The company will utilize the fresh capital to expand its beauty and wellness brand, AÏZA, into Saudi Arabia, followed by Kuwait and Qatar.
