UAE immigration authorities have outlined the guidelines for extending visit and tourist visas from within the country without requiring departure. Tourist permits can be extended up to 120 days, while business establishment and job exploration permits can reach up to 180 days.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the upcoming opening of an electronic visa centre in Beirut next month. The facility will enable applicants in Lebanon to complete all UAE visa procedures locally. The initiative aims to streamline documentation verification and travel processing for visitors, workers, and commercial delegates.
Hong Kong Financial Secretary Paul Chan arrived in Doha to advance economic, trade, and financial cooperation between mainland China, Hong Kong, and the Gulf region. Abu Dhabi rose eight places to rank 33rd globally in JLL's 2026 Global Real Estate Transparency Index, scoring 2.42. The emirate recorded the largest improvement globally, supported by expanded market disclosure and digital initiatives led by the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC). ADREC has established a strategic target to rank among the top 25 most transparent real estate markets by 2030.
