Chinese FDI into UAE Surges to $2.6 Billion as Corporate Footprint Expands

China's outbound direct investment into the UAE reached $2.6 billion, more than tripling from the prior reporting year. Cumulative Chinese FDI stock in the Emirates rose to $12.47 billion, alongside bilateral non-oil trade surpassing $100 billion. The influx comes as Chinese enterprises, including China Securities, JINGDONG Property, and Momenta, expand operations in the UAE.

China's outbound direct investment into the United Arab Emirates reached $2.6 billion, more than tripling from the previous reporting year, according to Arabian Business.

The latest capital inflows have expanded China's cumulative foreign direct investment stock in the UAE to $12.47 billion. At the same time, annual bilateral non-oil trade between China and the UAE has surpassed $100 billion.

This investment growth coincides with commercial expansions across the UAE by several Chinese companies, including financial firm China Securities, infrastructure manager JINGDONG Property, and autonomous driving technology company Momenta.
