Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced regulatory and administrative updates permitting visitors to apply for tourist visas directly through the official Visit Dubai website beginning in November 2026, according to Gulf News.

Under this digital channel, international applicants can apply for both single-entry and multiple-entry tourist visas, with further visa tiers scheduled for subsequent phases. The verification and issuance of entry permits remain under the authority of the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai.

The system is integrated through the Shared Digital Channels Initiative in collaboration with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and Digital Dubai. Additionally, Dubai launched the Dubai Access Club, an invitation-only membership program offering specific benefits and services to frequent visitors.
