Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has announced new regulatory and digital initiatives that enable visitors to apply directly for single-entry and multiple-entry tourist visas through the official Visit Dubai platform beginning in November 2026.

Developed under the Shared Digital Channels Initiative, the platform integrates services from Digital Dubai, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), and Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism. The GDRFA Dubai retains formal authority over vetting and approving all submitted visa applications.

In addition, Dubai introduced the Dubai Access Club, an invitation-only program offering repeat visitors a five-year multi-entry visa allowing stays of up to 90 days each year. According to the announcement, these measures serve as a pillar of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 to position the emirate among the top three destinations globally.
