Authorities in Dubai and the wider UAE have introduced updates across tourist visas, property residency, and specialized entry permits, according to Time Out Dubai.

The revisions widen visa-on-arrival eligibility for select passport holders holding valid visas or residence permits from nations including the United States, the United Kingdom, and European Union member states. Additionally, streamlined digital processing has reduced tourist visa turnaround times to as little as 48 hours.

The updates also adjust criteria for two-year property owner visas and mandate the settlement of outstanding traffic fines prior to completing residency renewals.

Furthermore, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has introduced dedicated visit visa categories tailored for specialists working in sectors such as artificial intelligence and events.
