The resolution entered into force on 14 September 2026 and provides full exemptions across 29 specific industrial property services intended to protect intellectual output.

Under the provisions, People of Determination receive fee waivers for nine additional services that typically cost between AED 1,000 and AED 9,000. In addition, student inventors are exempted from fees for nine additional services that previously carried costs ranging from AED 500 to AED 4,500.
