Thomson Reuters has announced the launch of ONESOURCE Pagero E-Invoicing in partnership with SpendConsole to support enterprises across the United Arab Emirates and the wider Gulf Cooperation Council region. The joint solution aims to help finance and tax departments comply with mandatory e-invoicing and Corporate Tax regulations while automating accounts payable workflows.
The combined offering links Thomson Reuters' ONESOURCE Pagero network—which supports compliance across more than 80 countries—with SpendConsole's enterprise payables platform. According to the companies, the software functions as a control layer over existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, managing supplier onboarding, invoice processing, fraud controls, and payments while maintaining financial data in regional sovereign cloud hosting.
On July 9, 2026, the UAE Ministry of Finance formally accredited ONESOURCE Pagero as a fully Accredited Service Provider (ASP) for electronic invoicing. SpendConsole had previously received approval from the Ministry of Finance as a Pre-Approved Accredited e-Invoicing Service Provider on April 21, 2026.
Abid Ali, founder and chief executive officer of SpendConsole, stated that the introduction of Corporate Tax and e-invoicing requirements presents an opportunity to overhaul enterprise payables across the region. Camillo Speroni, head of partnerships and alliances at Thomson Reuters, noted that the partnership combines regulatory content with payables orchestration to help regional businesses reduce compliance complexity.
