The UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has issued a warning to jobseekers regarding fraudulent employment offers, Gulf News reported. The ministry urged individuals both inside and outside the country not to begin any recruitment procedures before verifying that a job offer is genuine.
According to the ministry, employers are required to use its approved job offer form. The official form includes a serial number and a barcode that can be used to confirm its authenticity.
The ministry advised applicants to check the validity of any employment offer before proceeding with formal recruitment steps. Verification can be completed through the ministry's website, its smart application, or by calling its contact centre at 600590000.
