The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security introduced specialized visit visa categories tailored for artificial intelligence specialists, entertainment talent, event professionals, and cruise ship crew members.

The revised framework also encompasses provisions for humanitarian residency permits, visit visas for personal acquaintances, and specialized truck driver permits.

Under the updated rules, UAE residents sponsoring visiting relatives or acquaintances must meet minimum monthly income requirements ranging between AED 4,000 and AED 15,000, depending on the degree of kinship.
