The UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) announced the addition of Tabby and Jaywan payment channels to its tax collection platform, enabling taxpayers across the country to settle liabilities in installments.

Under the arrangement, taxpayers can split payments via Tabby over four to 12 months for amounts up to Dh20,000 per transaction, subject to a credit assessment. Under the buy-now-pay-later model, Tabby disburses the full tax balance to the FTA upfront, while users repay Tabby according to agreed terms.

The FTA has also integrated Jaywan, the UAE's national domestic debit card scheme, expanding local digital payment methods available on the platform.

According to the report, this integration follows earlier implementations of Tabby by other federal bodies, including the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), and the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP).
