The UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) issued a compliance advisory on 28 September 2026, reminding businesses whose financial year closed on 31 December 2025 that their corporate tax deadline falls on 30 September 2026.

According to the authority, corporate taxpayers, including entities claiming Small Business Relief, are required to finalize their tax returns and settle any owed taxes through the EmaraTax digital platform. Under statutory regulations, tax returns and declarations must be submitted within nine months following the close of an entity's financial period.

The FTA noted that businesses are required to maintain auditable documentation supporting reported revenue figures, taxable profits, and relief eligibility. It warned that failing to submit filings, settle outstanding taxes, or preserve transactional records will result in administrative penalties under the Tax Procedures Law.
