UAE Firm Launches AI Courtroom Simulator for Trainee Legal Practice

UAE legal technology company Legaline Platform has unveiled an AI-powered virtual courtroom simulator called Meta Legal Space at the Dubai AI Festival. The platform allows law students and legal trainees to conduct simulated hearings, examine AI-generated witnesses, and argue before virtual judges in real time. The system supports litigation, arbitration, and mediation across UAE onshore, DIFC, and ADGM legal frameworks.

UAE-based legal technology company Legaline Platform has launched an artificial intelligence-powered virtual courtroom simulator named Meta Legal Space, Travels Dubai and regional media reported. The platform was unveiled at the Dubai AI Festival held at the Dubai World Trade Centre on October 26–27, 2026.

The system enables law students and trainee lawyers to conduct real-time mock hearings against AI or human opposing counsel before virtual judges. AI-powered witnesses are configured with distinct behavioural traits, backgrounds, and professions, and are programmed to withhold specific facts that trainees must draw out through cross-examination within the limits of the case file.

According to Legaline Platform founder and chief executive Dmitry Grinik, the simulator provides a controlled environment where trainees can manage unpredictable witnesses, judicial interruptions, and objections without placing real client cases at risk.

The simulator supports litigation, arbitration, and mediation across three jurisdictional frameworks: UAE onshore courts, the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). Its initial library covers commercial disputes, civil claims, and employment cases.

Following each simulation, users receive automated performance reports evaluating procedural compliance, argumentation, and responses to objections, with optional live supervision by licensed practitioners. The developer announced that registration is free for students and the system will be made available to law schools and training providers across the region.
