Business aviation expansion in the UAE is creating new commercial opportunities in aircraft maintenance and fleet management, Emirates 24|7 reported, citing findings from Honeywell Aerospace's 35th Global Business Aviation Outlook 2026. Departures of business jets in the UAE surged by 102.2 percent over a five-year period, reaching 5,475 flights.
In comparison, Saudi Arabia recorded approximately 3,727 business jet departures over the same period, marking an increase of 42.2 percent. The report identified the UAE and Saudi Arabia as key regional markets benefiting from expanding wealth, demand for luxury travel, infrastructure investments, and private aviation ecosystem development.
The report highlighted that market opportunities extend beyond flight volumes into operational services. As aircraft utilisation rises, demand is expanding for maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), fleet management, spare parts supply, avionics upgrades, and digital connectivity solutions.
According to the report, sustained investments in infrastructure and specialised services continue to support the UAE's position as a regional hub for business aviation, with after-sales and maintenance services increasing the economic value of the sector.
