Ras Al Khaimah Ruler Signs Technology and Transport Partnerships in China

Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, concluded high-level meetings with leading industrial and technology companies across Guangdong and Fujian provinces in China, according to GCC Business News.

During a visit to UBTECH Robotics, Sheikh Saud witnessed the signing of a strategic memorandum of understanding between the company and the Government of Ras Al Khaimah to advance humanoid robotics research and testing.

The ruler also toured the smart manufacturing facilities of electric flying-vehicle maker ARIDGE in Guangzhou to inspect production lines, following agreements to develop low-altitude mobility in the UAE.

Additionally, an MoU was signed with the Shenzhen Urban Transport Planning Center to collaborate on intelligent transportation infrastructure. Sheikh Saud met with executives from e-commerce platform Vipshop and other corporate leaders to attract further Chinese enterprise investment into the emirate.
