A high-level UAE delegation led by Ras Al Khaimah Ruler Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi visited Guangzhou on October 23, 2026, to advance bilateral partnerships in low-altitude mobility, CGTN reported.

During an inspection of Chinese manufacturer ARIDGE's production facility, the delegation observed the official rollout of the first flying car produced specifically for the UAE.

Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority Director General Esmaeel Hasan Al Blooshi emphasized the emirate's regulatory sandbox, which accommodates pilot testing for autonomous and airborne mobility solutions.

ARIDGE founder Zhao Deli confirmed that the partnership has entered its third year, with initial demonstration flights scheduled to take place in the UAE as part of efforts to establish the country as a regional test hub for Chinese aerial transport technologies.
