BYD Unveils Electric Truck Lineup in Europe with Fleet Implications for UAE
BYD presented its largest commercial electric vehicle range to date at the IAA Transportation 2026 show in Hannover, spanning from 3.5-tonne delivery vans to 44-tonne heavy-duty trucks. The flagship ETT 44 electric tractor features roughly 1,000 hp, a 651 kWh Blade Battery, 600 km of range, and 1.5 MW ultra-fast charging. While launched for Europe, industry observers note the lineup signals potential technology transfers to UAE and Gulf commercial logistics fleets.
