Sharjah and China Discuss Expanding Economic and Cultural Ties
Sharjah and Chinese officials held talks to explore commercial projects in advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, data centers, and healthcare. Discussions also addressed the potential establishment of a Chinese cultural institute in the emirate. Official data showed 851 Chinese enterprises operating in Sharjah as of June 2026, with bilateral trade reaching AED 6.3 billion in 2025.
