Automotive brand OMODA & JAECOO reported a 123% year-on-year surge in global vehicle sales in September 2026, according to figures published by Al-Bawaba. The company's monthly deliveries of new energy vehicles (NEVs) reached 53,957 units, representing a 184% increase compared with September 2025, driven by evolving customer demand for extended range, fuel efficiency, and vehicle technology.
In the UAE, cumulative vehicle deliveries surpassed 6,000 units, marking a key milestone in the brand's Middle Eastern presence. The announcement coincided with rapid international expansion across major European markets, led by the United Kingdom, Italy, and Spain.
In the UK, the company registered 22,296 new vehicles in September, up 106% year-on-year, capturing a 6.37% monthly market share. The JAECOO J7 was the country's best-selling new-car model during the month with 10,813 registrations, bringing its nine-month total to 39,473 units. To support future technical development, the carmaker plans to establish a research and development centre at the UTAC Millbrook facility in the UK focusing on chassis engineering and advanced driver-assistance systems.
Elsewhere in Europe, the brand recorded 4,678 vehicle registrations in Italy and 4,010 in Spain during September, with electrified variants making up 98% of total Spanish sales. The group is hosting its International User Summit in Wuhu, China, from October 18 to 24, where it is scheduled to unveil the all-new OMODA X crossover during the OMODA X Night showcase.
