UAE GCAA Cuts Domestic Heliport Registration Time to Two Working Days

The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has introduced a new regulatory framework that cuts the processing time for domestic heliports from up to 135 days to two working days. The reform replaces full certification with a simplified registration system for domestic operations. International heliports and facilities requiring certification will continue under the existing certification regime.

Chinese Demand And Reduced Russian Exports Drive Indian Refiners Toward UAE Crude

Indian refiners expect Russian crude supplies to tighten further through November as Chinese buyers outbid competitors and book cargoes in advance. To replace Russian barrels, Indian refiners are turning to alternatives including UAE Murban crude. Meanwhile, exports from major Middle East producers rebounded in September, supported by increased output from the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Emirates and Dubai Chambers Partner to Support SME Global Expansion

Emirates and Dubai Chambers have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support the international expansion of Dubai-based small and medium enterprises and startups. The partnership provides Dubai Chamber of Commerce members with access to Emirates SkyCargo's global freight network and Emirates Courier Express shipping solutions. Eligible businesses will also receive corporate travel incentives through the Emirates Business Rewards programme, including a 2,000-point welcome bonus.
