Air Algerie Resumes Doha Flights Following Nearly Seven-Month Airspace Suspension

Qatar Airways has released an updated passenger security advisory concerning the carriage of power banks and lithium batteries. Passengers are limited to two power banks not exceeding 100 Watt-hours, which must be kept in carry-on baggage. In-flight charging is strictly prohibited, and failure to comply may result in denied boarding and legal action.

University of Sharjah Explores Technology Partnerships with Huawei and Chinese Institutions

A University of Sharjah delegation led by Chancellor Esameldin Agamy completed a four-day mission to China to develop ties in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and scientific research. The delegation visited Huawei's Shanghai R&D centre, attended the Huawei Connect 2026 conference, and met with Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
