UAE Issues Cabinet Decision No. 107 on Combating Commercial Fraud

The UAE Cabinet has issued Cabinet Decision No. 107 of 2026 as the implementing regulation for Federal Decree-Law No. 42 of 2023 on Combating Commercial Fraud. The regulation establishes detailed procedures for inspections, product seizures, mandatory recalls, and formal settlements. It also sets stricter reporting deadlines and defines direct intervention powers for the Ministry of Economy and Tourism.

China Direct Investment in UAE Reaches $2.6 Billion Amid Expanding Tech Footprint

China's annual outbound direct investment reached $213.58 billion, with outbound flows to the Middle East more than doubling and the UAE securing $2.6 billion as the primary recipient. The capital influx represents a more than threefold increase in direct Chinese investment in the UAE over the previous year. Concurrently, major Chinese energy and tech enterprises continue expanding operational footprints in the country, including Meituan's delivery platform Keeta.

ADGM and Shenzhen’s Futian District Partner on Financial Innovation and AI

Abu Dhabi Global Market has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Futian District People's Government in Shenzhen.
