The XI International Industrial and Energy Forum in Tyumen featured participation from Chinese energy companies and the UAE's Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. ADNOC advanced supplier qualification frameworks covering 60 approved technical standards, while Chinese and Gulf entities signed commercial pacts across upstream services, LNG shipping, and decarbonization technologies.
Jingdong Property, the infrastructure and asset-management arm of JD.com, has signed an agreement with Kezad Group to develop a 150,000-square-metre warehousing complex in Abu Dhabi. Scheduled for completion in 2028, the hub is expected to create approximately 1,000 direct jobs. The project will feature automated warehousing systems and digital operations technology.
GCC Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi urged deeper integration across energy, trade, and digital transport corridors linking the Gulf to Asian markets. Speaking at a GCC-UNDP symposium, he highlighted that member states produce roughly 16.6 million barrels of crude oil daily, or 22.2 percent of global output. He underscored the need for integrated infrastructure and digital logistics alongside traditional energy exports.
The XI International Industrial and Energy Forum (TNF 2026) in Tyumen operated with full international status, convening over 18,000 participants from across the energy sector. Representatives from China and the UAE's ADNOC participated alongside major Russian energy producers. The event registered more than 50 cooperation agreements and over 200 technology launches.
