Messe Frankfurt Middle East has unveiled a restructured five-domain framework for Intersec Global 2027 to address the convergence of physical and cyber risks. The trade event will run from 12 to 14 January 2027 at the Dubai World Trade Centre under the patronage of Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The five focus sectors comprise national security, cybersecurity, physical surveillance, emergency response, and workplace safety.

ADNOC Partners with OpenAI and G42 to Deploy AI in Oil Operations

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Corporation (ADNOC) has announced a cooperation agreement with OpenAI and UAE-based technology group G42. The initiative aims to make ADNOC the world's first energy company to deploy OpenAI's Frontier platform to analyze subsurface data and forecast energy markets. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Chinese automotive brand OMODA & JAECOO unveiled its upcoming 5-kWh hybrid powertrain technology and debuted its all-new OMODA X crossover during its International User Summit in Wuhu, China. The export division of Chery Group confirmed that the new hybrid architecture will debut on the OMODA 7 before rolling out to international markets, including the UAE. The company also announced that cumulative global deliveries have surpassed 1.4 million vehicles.
