Al Habtoor Group has completed the installation of the last glass facade panel at Habtoor Towers in Dubai, being built in coordination with China Railway 18th Bureau Group Dubai. Once finished, the 1,740-unit project is positioned to become the world's largest single residential building. Handover will occur in stages, starting with over 1,300 apartments scheduled for delivery during the summer.
Dubai Municipality has outlined operational rules and occupancy standards under Law No. (4) of 2026 regulating shared housing across the emirate. Property owners and establishments have been given a one-year grace period to adjust non-compliant units. Scheduled between Q1 2027 and Q4 2028, the development will add 86,000 square metres across six new commercial buildings. Occupancy across the free zone currently stands at approximately 96 percent.
