His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi concluded a six-day delegation visit to Guangdong and Fujian provinces on October 26, 2026. The visit focused on expanding bilateral investment in robotics, low-altitude mobility, smart transportation, and infrastructure.
Chinese manufacturer FAW TRUCKS has shipped an initial consignment of 210 commercial trucks to the UAE. The delivery follows a partnership with a local automotive dealer group for sales, maintenance, and spare parts. The move aligns with the company's 'SPRINT 2030' roadmap to expand across the GCC.
Chinese advanced mobility and robotics firms Aridge and UBTech have initiated regulatory and field trials in Ras Al Khaimah. Meanwhile, Chinese state-owned enterprises including China Energy and CSCEC units signed agreements for major infrastructure and building developments in Dubai. Regional engagements also saw Chinese facade contractor Fangda secure a major stadium contract in Saudi Arabia.
Ras Al Khaimah signed a friendship agreement with Fujian Province and 10 memorandums of understanding with Chinese counterparts. The deals cover humanoid robotics deployment, cross-border financial cooperation, infrastructure, smart transportation, and advanced manufacturing.
