Chinese flying car developer Aridge delivered its first X3-F test aircraft designated for the UAE's low-altitude aviation regulatory sandbox, KrASIA reported. The handover followed a cooperation agreement signed in September and took place during a visit by the ruler of Ras Al Khaimah to Aridge's production plant. Supervised by the UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority, the aircraft—the flying module of Aridge's Land Aircraft Carrier—will undergo local trials as partners work toward product certification and inter-emirate flight routes.
In parallel, Chinese humanoid robotics manufacturer UBTech Robotics signed a memorandum of understanding with the International Relations Office of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah. According to KrASIA, UBTech will send an engineering team to conduct field tests evaluating humanoid robots for industrial automation, smart public services, eldercare, and tourism services across the emirate.
Energy and construction partnerships also gained traction in Dubai. At the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX), DEWA International signed an MOU with China Energy International Group to explore engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) cooperation for major energy, water, and infrastructure initiatives. Meanwhile, China Construction First Group and CSCEC Middle East agreed to jointly construct Dubai Holding's headquarters and the Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers development.
Across the wider region, a joint venture between Fangda Group subsidiary Shihui International Holdings and Saudi Arabia's IKK Group secured a contract worth approximately RMB 2.05 billion (USD 307 million) to build the exterior facade of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium in Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia.
