UAE-based law and business advisory firm Habib Al Mulla and Partners has established an office in Shanghai to provide business consulting services. The office represents the first Arab law firm entry into the Chinese market, aiming to connect Chinese investors with Middle East opportunities and guide UAE cross-border deals.
Middle Eastern sovereign funds invested US$14.2 billion in Hong Kong and mainland China during the first nine months of 2026, according to Global SWF. UAE funds ADIA and Mubadala contributed US$2.5 billion and US$800 million, respectively. The capital targeted sectors including advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and consumer markets.
The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention has launched the Health Sector Climate Adaptation Plan (2026–2031) to mitigate climate-related health risks. Announced at the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit, the initiative focuses on shifting healthcare systems toward risk anticipation and early prevention. The strategy was developed in partnership with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and aligns with national adaptation frameworks.

Organised by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi under the theme 'To Sense is to Predict', the event spotlights AI, genetic testing, and advanced diagnostics to detect diseases before symptoms appear. Officials highlighted Abu Dhabi's strategy to shift toward preventive medicine through international technology cooperation.
