The Dubai International Financial Centre announced a partnership granting up to 6,000 Japanese startups direct access to its innovation ecosystem. The initiative enables firms to acquire licenses, establish operations, and raise venture capital in the free zone. DIFC also reported crossing 2,000 active innovation companies and introduced the Dubai FinTech Stack.
The UAE Ministry of Finance and the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources have partnered to migrate federal operations to Oracle cloud systems. The project will incorporate cloud automation and artificial intelligence across federal entities. The signing ceremony took place in Abu Dhabi on 1 November 2026.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent a written message to Chinese President Xi Jinping addressing strategic bilateral ties and economic interests. The communication was delivered in Beijing during talks between Saudi National Security Adviser Musaed al-Aiban and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Discussions addressed joint commercial cooperation in energy supplies, high-tech industries, and reciprocal investment frameworks.
Dubai Chambers has signed four memorandums of understanding with regional Chinese chambers of commerce to boost bilateral trade and investment. The agreements cover Beijing, Guangzhou, Chongqing, and Shenzhen, targeting enterprise expansion and reciprocal trade delegations. Dubai Chambers executives stated the initiative supports the emirate's target to expand non-oil foreign trade.
