The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has announced a strategic partnership granting up to 6,000 Japanese startups access to its innovation ecosystem, according to Emirates News Agency. Unveiled during Dubai Future Finance Week, the program enables Japanese fintech and technology firms to obtain licenses, set up operations, and raise venture capital.
DIFC Authority Chief Executive Officer Arif Amiri stated that the free zone now hosts over 2,000 active artificial intelligence, fintech, and innovation entities.
DIFC also introduced the Dubai FinTech Stack to provide integrated infrastructure supporting cross-border expansion. The initiative supports the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) target of ranking Dubai among the top four global financial centres.
