The UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) and Emirates Development Bank (EDB) activated an online portal on November 4, 2026, to receive financing applications under the AED 1 billion ($272.3 million) National Industrial Resilience Fund.
The five-year financing programme is structured to expand local manufacturing capabilities, support import substitution, and strengthen supply chain resilience across targeted critical industrial categories.
Under the facility, eligible industrial enterprises can access credit for capital expenditures, including investments in new production lines, factory machinery, and industrial artificial intelligence deployment. The scheme also provides working capital to finance strategic inventories and supplier payments.
The launch coincided with the inaugural meeting of the Fund's Joint Governance Committee, which includes representatives from MoIAT, EDB, and the Ministry of Finance.
