Beijing-headquartered biotechnology firm Likang Life Sciences sponsored and exhibited at the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit 2026, held from October 20 to 22 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. Convened by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi under the theme "To Sense Is to Predict," the summit served as an international platform for Likang to present its scientific platform and clinical development programs.

Likang Co-Founder and Vice Chairman Shannon Cheung joined an international health leadership delegation received by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on October 20. Cheung also met Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during a summit tour on October 21. During these exchanges, Cheung shared Likang's plans to introduce its personalized cancer immunotherapies and clinical research to Abu Dhabi, aiming to leverage the emirate as a hub for international research and future growth.

According to the company, Likang is in ongoing dialogue with the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi and regional stakeholders to pursue opportunities across clinical research, AI-enabled precision oncology, research partnerships, and potential local manufacturing. At the summit, Likang demonstrated its AI-driven neoantigen discovery platform and broader immunotherapy pipeline.

The company's lead candidate, LK101, is an individualized neoantigen mRNA-dendritic cell therapeutic cancer vaccine. The investigational therapy received clinical trial approval from China's National Medical Products Administration in 2023 and investigational new drug clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 2025.
