Israel's National Security Council (NSC) has escalated its travel warning to Level 4 (High Threat) for Egypt, including the Sinai Peninsula, alongside Jordan, Qatar, and Somaliland, according to a report by the Egypt Independent.

The NSC strongly urged Israeli citizens to avoid all travel to these destinations and advised those currently in affected areas to depart promptly. The agency cited heightened regional security risks, potential terror threats, and anti-Israel demonstrations targeting Israelis and Jewish communities abroad.

According to the advisory, citizens remaining in these regions should maintain a low public profile, minimize spoken Hebrew in crowded areas, avoid demonstrations, and refrain from displaying identifying symbols. The guidance also instructs travelers to avoid publishing advance itineraries, real-time locations, or military service backgrounds on social media.

The council further directed that individuals abroad experiencing immediate security threats should first contact local law enforcement authorities before contacting Israeli emergency diplomatic hotlines.
