Official outbound investment data shows Chinese net direct investment in the UAE grew 237.7% to $2.6 billion in 2025. Total Chinese direct investment stock in the UAE reached $12.47 billion, driven by port logistics, digital infrastructure, and renewable energy.
Saudi Arabia posted a merchandise trade surplus of SR14.36 billion ($3.83 billion) in July, down 25 percent year-on-year, according to preliminary official statistics. Both exports and imports declined amid logistics route adjustments, while China, the UAE, and Egypt ranked among the kingdom's top trading partners.
